Warranty & DOA Policy  

In most cases warranty situations are handled by the manufacturer.  IR/DataLink provides no warranty other than the warranty offered by the manufacturer of the product..

If a product arrives Dead-On-Arrival (DOA), call our Customer Services group immediately.  DOA policies vary from manufacturer-to-manufacturer.  In most cases, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) will be issued and a replacement product will be sent to you.  Otherwise, the defective product will be handled by the manufacturer under its warranty.  In any case, defective products which have an invoice date over 30 days old must be handled under the manufacturer's warranty.

Return Policy

A Return Materials Authorization is required for all returns.

Requests for an RMA number must be made within 10 days from the date of the invoice.

An RMA number is valid for 10 days.

Products returned for credit are subject to a restocking fee of 25% or $50 whichever is more.

NO open box returns for non-DOA products.  Product box must be clean and undamaged with no marks of any kind.  

All products must be double-boxed.  Original manufacturer's packaging, both inside and outside must be used.  Returns must be complete with all manuals, cables, warranty cards, static bags, etc.  

Products returned for credit will be credited at the current price or the price paid - whichever is lower.

Software, printer media, printer ribbons, printheads, service contracts & special orders are not returnable.

Call IR/DataLink at (215) 953-2024 and request a Return Material Authorization number.

Please have the following information available:

Print RMA number on the shipping label only.  Please do not write on the original packaging.

Products must be returned within 10 days of RMA issuance.
